Travel Packages Added in Final Days of “Take Your Shot, Oregon” Vaccine Sweepstakes

SALEM, Oregon (KTVZ) – Gov. Kate Brown urged Oregonians on Tuesday to get their shots as soon as possible, with less than a week before the Take Your Shot, Oregon, June 28 draw.

Oregonians 18 and older have the chance to win $ 1 million or one of 36 $ 10,000 prizes – with one winner in each Oregon county. Oregon residents between the ages of 12 and 17 have a chance to win one of five $ 100,000 Oregon University Savings Plan Scholarships. Residents of Oregon must receive at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine before the draw date in order to win.

“Don’t miss your chance to win $ 1 million – if you were waiting to get the vaccine go get it today,” Governor Brown said. “Getting the vaccine has never been easier, so don’t miss your injection in. Vaccines are the best tool available to protect you and your loved ones from COVID-19. We’re so close to it. Achieve a 70% statewide adult immunization rate, so we can lift health and safety restrictions and return to a sense of normalcy. ”
