There is still time to score cheap flight deals for Thanksgiving

Inexpensive flights will be harder to find as the busy vacation travel season approaches, but the window to save is still open. Experts anticipate huge travel demand this holiday season as COVID-19 vaccination rates continue to rise and more destinations around the world reopen to tourism.

Scott’s Cheap Flights, a subscription service that sends the best flight deals straight to member inboxes, has already sent out incredible fares to its premium members ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Notable offers discovered so far include a roundtrip New York (Newark) to Nashville for just $ 147; Dallas to New York (JFK) for just $ 124; Las Vegas to Los Angeles for as low as $ 77; Orlando to Washington DC for as low as $ 127; From Miami to St. Louis for $ 97 and from Denver to Austin for $ 149. Fast-acting travelers can also get round-trip tickets from Houston to Atlanta for $ 167 and Phoenix to Boise for $ 177.

Offers represent savings ranging from 49% to 74%, but the team at Scott’s Cheap Flights expects discounts to last only two to three days on most routes. Keep in mind that for some routes, the cheapest fares are those of Breeze Airways, JetBlue, and United Airlines and do not include full-size hand baggage. Typically, however, passengers can upgrade to regular economy class or check their baggage for $ 20 to $ 40 each way.

Discounted fares are valid from November through February 2022, and each aforementioned itinerary can depart between Monday and Wednesday of Thanksgiving week and return on Monday of the following week.
