Qatar Airways announces official fan travel packages for the 2022 World Cup

Fan travel packages have been confirmed for fans traveling to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Official Qatar Airways Holidays offers include match tickets, round-trip flights and accommodation options for UK customers, but are only available through official channels.

There are a selection of seven packages, with prices starting at £ 2,815 per person, excluding airport transfers. They went on sale about 12 months before the tournament started in Gulf State. It will take place in Qatar from November 21 to December 18, 2022.

Individual fans can book a total of seven matches by combining different packages, which range from four to 13 nights with accommodation rated from standard to premium depending on the budget.

Gareth Southgate’s England side have already qualified, while Scotland and Wales are both involved in play-offs to reach the finals.

The tournament kicks off on Monday, November 21, 2022, with hosts Qatar playing the first match at Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor.

The group stage will run until Friday, December 2, with the first of the knockout games starting the following day, Saturday, December 3.

The final will then take place at the Lusail Iconic Stadium, with a capacity of 80,000 people, on Sunday, December 18.
