Those looking to escape to the beach are in luck – with fare sales including one of Mexico’s most popular travel destinations, Los Cabos. Not only are ticket prices under $250, but several flights are nonstop, including those from US cities Denver, Los Angeles, Houston, and New York. If you’re traveling light, you could even get away for less than $250, by skipping the suitcase and opting for a small carry-on that you won’t even have to pack.
Travelers looking to book a plane ticket soon will likely find deals as low as $219, though that only includes a ticket to fly. Airlines United and JetBlue do not include carry-on or full-size bags in this price, resulting in charges of up to $60 for a round trip. Prices may increase depending on the chosen airline’s policies and prices. It is suggested that you pack some light for a weekend getaway to make the most of these new nonstop flight deals to Los Cabos.
Flight offers are available from the airlines: American, Delta, JetBlue and United. The most notable routes depart from Denver, Houston, Los Angeles and New York, with variable availability with a few other US cities. To research flight deals and get the best prices, travelers are encouraged to search Google Flightsusing the cheapest offers and then booking directly with the accommodation airline.
Those planning a trip can also visit the official website of their preferred airline, doing a general search for dates throughout the fall and winter months. The best deals may be for particular dates, although airfares for other dates close to cheaper priced deals are also lower than high season. Due to a decrease in the overall number of travelers and the expansion of new flights to and from Los Cabos, there is more flight availability, which keeps costs low and healthy competition on fares alive.
The majority of notable discounts are available between the months of August and November, when the influx of travelers typically slows down. Contrary to last year’s trends, travel to Los Cabos is still booming, with several popular resorts at 80% occupancy. This means that travelers looking to take advantage of unbeatable flight deals are also encouraged to check accommodations, as timeshares, hotels, resorts, etc. fill up quickly.
Select flight deals are also available for Los Cabos peak season dates, which typically runs from December through May. Some nonstop flight deals are available between January and May, allowing plenty of time to plan for those looking to plan their beach getaway early. Even for those who like to plan ahead, 2023 is filling up fast, with over 700 cruise ships on the way before the end of the year.
Los Cabos is becoming increasingly popular, known for its beautiful beaches, luxury accommodations and hotspot for celebrity getaways. Located at the tip of Mexico’s Baja Peninsula, visitors can partake in a number of water activities, including swimming at certain locations. Whale watching, sport fishing, and snorkeling are all available in different parts of Los Cabos, giving travelers plenty to do besides relaxing on the beach.
Due to the continued rise in popularity, travelers can expect a slew of new openings in Los Cabos in the very near future. Star chefs, newly renovated golf courses, luxurious resort designs and long-awaited shopping malls have hit Los Cabos lately, with talk of new openings set to follow. All of these advances come despite recent travel advisory releases from the US State Department, which ranked Los Cabos as Level 2, which means “exercise extra caution.”
