Jetstar launches massive anniversary sale with free return flight deals

Jetstar celebrates 18 years in the sky with a new round of cheap tickets, including free return flights.

The sale will start Tuesday at midnight and will last 48 hours.

Over 400,000 tickets are available for destinations such as Bali, Phuket, Hawaii, Vietnam, Japan and Seoul.

All fares include a complimentary return airfare but do not cover the cost of checked baggage.

The cheapest domestic route is from Melbourne to Sydney from $69, while the return flight to Bali from Darwin will cost travelers just $199.

The most expensive flight is from Sydney to Incheon Airport in Seoul, South Korea, for $550.

A Jetstar Club membership costs $55 per year, but includes early access to tickets on sale from noon on Tuesdays.

Flight dates vary by route, but range from mid-July 2022 to late February 2023.

The airline is also marking the occasion with a selection of signature drinks based on top local and international destinations.

Designed to resemble the flavors of Bali, the Gold Coast, Melbourne and Queenstown, seltzers were made by Melbourne-based company Hop Nation.

Bali’s flavor evokes rambutan and soursop, the Gold Coast was based on coconut, pixie, sea salt and Queenstown flavors like mulled wine, cloves and cinnamon.

Melbourne’s specialty brew was based on a deconstructed latte.
